Frequently Asked Questions
Do you manufacture on site?
Raptis Pax is a proudly Australian-owned and operated company. We manufacture on site at our Rocklea, Brisbane facility.
What type of plastic do you manufacture?
Raptis Pax is the only thermoforming manufacturer in South East Queensland. We produce containers in PET (Polyethylene terephthalate), PVC (Polyvinyl chloride), and PP (Polypropylene). We are also a premier supplier of PLA (Polylactic Acid) which is a biodegradable and renewable resource. We do not do injection molds. Most of our products are produced in clear plastic. Black, and a range of other colours, are available in PVC and PET, but may require a longer lead time or larger order quantity. Please contact us to enquire further.
What is the minimum order quantity?
As Raptis Pax is a manufacturer, one (1) pallet per item is the minimum customers can order from us. Freight is available at an extra charge. Customers requiring less than a pallet will be directed to Raptis Pax distributors.
What is your transportation reach?
We can arrange local and interstate deliveries, usually by road. We can also arrange international freight. We have interstate warehousing available to minimise stock holding at your site.
How soon can I get my order?
Providing stock is available immediately, we offer a next business day service for local deliveries in Brisbane. Interstate deliveries can be shipped daily, however the delivery timeframe for interstate orders will depend on the final destination. You are welcome to collect your own order as soon as stock is available from our warehouse in Rocklea, Brisbane. You can also arrange your own pick-up through your carrier of choice for the next business day. Customised products will require at least 3 weeks’ notice.
Can you produce a custom-made product for me?
Yes, our in-house design team uses state of the art software and technology to design and produce your custom-made tool. We will provide you with 2D and 3D drawings as well as prototype samples prior to final production of the tool. This process can take between 6-10 weeks depending on the intricacy of the tool design. There are several criteria that must be met before the customisation process can be initiated. For more information regarding custom tools please contact us on (07) 3277 1622 or visit our Customisation page to fill out our Customisation Enquiry form.
